Use of the Service

Family Ledger is a personal family information and reminder app. You may use it only in compliance with applicable law and these terms.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

Your Content

You retain responsibility for the information you submit to Family Ledger, including profile details, family records, notes, dates, and questions submitted through Ask Family.

You represent that you have the right to provide and use that content and that it does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the service to violate law, infringe rights, or interfere with the operation of the app.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
  • Do not use the service to transmit malicious code or abusive content.

AI Features

Ask Family uses AI to generate responses based on your prompts and stored family data. Responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.

You are responsible for reviewing AI output and deciding how to use it. The feature is provided for convenience and informational assistance only.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Family Ledger may send reminders and service-related notices to your device. Delivery is not guaranteed and may depend on Apple, Firebase, device settings, network conditions, and other third-party systems.

Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice, including features, storage practices, or AI functionality.

Disclaimer

Family Ledger is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Family Ledger will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business interruption arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if we believe you have violated these terms or if continued operation of the service is no longer practical.
